Avery squiggled red and yellow crayon over several characters in his coloring book because he wanted to "put mustard and ketchup" on them "to be funny".
"I love you better than pigs, mommy."
Our little boy thinks it's funny to eat "wild" rice.
Avery refers to the baby in his mommy's tummy as "My baby".
Avery wanted his mother to get up off of the chair so that she would play with him. So, he pretended to plant a "stink bomb" on the chair, and tried to convince her that the bomb went off and she needed to get away because it stunk.
"Mommy, I just want to sit on your tummy and hug the baby."
Avery tickles his mother's tummy and asks, "Is the baby laughing?"
"All that fresh air made me HUNGRY."
Avery tries to talk tough to his dad when they are having a tickle fight. It makes him laugh instead.
During rest time, Avery is supposed to lay on his bed and either sleep or read books quietly. One afternoon, he decided to play a trick on us. He put his stuffed chipmunk in the back of his toy dumptruck, creaked open the door just enough to get the vehicle through, and then pushed it down the hallway to try and scare us.
