Christmas ornaments

Since we've had the Christmas tree up in our house, Avery has been very curious about it. Thankfully he has only knocked it down once. Clint added some round blue ornaments at the top so that they are out of reach for daring toddlers. Avery noticed the shiny ornaments and has started asking us if they were "apples".

Most toddlers have some sort of stuffed teddy bear they love to cuddle with. Thanks to Auntie Leah and Uncle Jon, Avery is now attached to his beloved "Jack" the jackalope (jack rabbit with antlers).

It was so nice to have Grandpa Alvin visit us last weekend. We explored the Rutledge-Wilson Farm in Springfield, toured the Bass Pro Shop, ate pumpkin cheesecake pie and much more. Here are a few shots of our weekened together.
