I am truly amazed at how fast this little bougar is growing. He has five teeth now and seems to still be working on more. We've made the complete switch to a sippy cup with whole milk - which he loves. Also, Avery is showing more humor in his attempts to play peekapoo and make us laugh and crawling into small corners to jump out and surprise us. Never a dull moment in this house! Finally, Clint and I agreed that it would be safe to say that he is now running - fast. He will run away from us (laughing, mind you) while we scramble to get his winter coat on. What a ornery, curious, funny, ACTIVE, sweet and innocent little man! : )

Snow, Teeth & Football
After the nicer weather we had last week, our area was hit with snow and ice and then mellowed out again for the weekend. Missouri weather seems to change from one extreme to the other easily. Clint was off from school for a few days and enjoyed the extra time at home to catch up on his classes. I was thankful for the extra help taking care of Avery too. It was a rough time with teething for the poor little guy. We think the front top two came through with more on the way. One perk of teething, though, is enjoying cherry popsicles. Avery really likes them. He also liked the snow. Occasionally he would stare out the window in curiosity. I put some snow in a tupperware container and let him play around with it inside. It puzzled him why his hands felt so cold and wet touching it. Another puzzling thing to him was watching grown ups shout at the TV during the Super Bowl. At the party, whenever people cheered, Avery would stop and stare as if he was trying to figure out what all the fuss was about. Super Bowl or not, I'll be cheering once this season of teething is finally over with.

Carey tagged me.
The rules are...
1. Go to where you store your digital photo folders & open the 4th folder.
2. Go to the 4th picture and post it.
3. Explain the picture.
4. Tag an additional 4 people.
This is a photo of Avery showing off “his” dishwasher. He thinks it’s his toy and takes great pride modeling it off.
I am tagging Brenda, Jenny Seiler, Lesa and Leah.

Start 'Em Early
Ahh...so it begins...another male probably destined to be obsessed with sports. If this is a bond between father and son, then I will be happy.
